You're the only one who knows what's for dinner — every night.
“
You remind everyone three times, then just do it yourself.
“
One sick kid, and the whole week falls apart.
“
Your partner asks "what can I do?" — and that's one more thing to answer.
This isn't a you problem. No one ever showed you how to share the load — so it all landed on one person. That part can change.

Our story
I run big projects at work. Now our house runs the same way.
I’m Cassie, founder of The Family OS. My husband Josef and I have five kids, from a high schooler with a job down to seven-year-old twins. Our calendar has cheer, orchestra, a musical, and Friday night games on it most weeks.
I spent 20 years running restaurants, and today I lead large projects and training at work. Both jobs come down to getting the right information to the right people before they need it. One day I asked myself why I did that all day at work and none of it at home.
The 8am text my husband got that morning.
The day I noticed it was working
Last year I had four kids in three places in one afternoon. Another parent texted to ask if we really had practice that day, because she’d missed the announcement. For years, a text like that meant digging through emails and the team app while I stood in a parking lot. I said yes without checking, because the plan had already gone out to everyone in my house that morning.
“The calm was coming from the system, not from me.”
I had built something that carried our week, and I had never shown it to anyone. That’s when The Family OS started. It’s a set of iPhone shortcuts that text everyone in our house their day at 8, build the grocery list from the dinners we pick, and remind the kids about chores at the time we set.

Josef and I run the house together. We each own different things, and the system makes sure we both see the same day.
Every shortcut I sell runs on my phone and our kids’ phones every day. I share the ones that work for us, written out so you can set them up tonight.
Twelve iPhone automations, written out step by step, using apps you already have. No downloads, nothing to buy. Set one up tonight and let your phone start remembering things so you don't have to.
